Beautiful courtyard gardens provide a serene atmosphere.
The swimming pool was closed , frustrating as I was looking forward to relaxing by the water. The toiletries were in wall dispensers that were out of reach while in the bath, made using them inconvenient.

This hotel was magnificent, with good service and beautiful location in restaurant or bar. Everyone we met from the staff was welcoming. Location: the property was really close to the Parador due to a bullfight, and the centre of town...

Had a great stay at the Parador! The beautiful gardens and cozy setup made for a perfect evening. The room was spacious but the breakfast setup felt a bit chaotic. Would recommend visiting the Plaza Mayor. Very charming!

I greatly enjoyed the large room and its large bathroom. The setting was marvellous, just next door to an immaculately presented parador with really nice staff, the restaurant which was very nice and a very nice looking cafe.

The fine pool area was great, but the noisy guests made it hard to relax.

Staying for 1 night was magical! The well-kept gardens were fine, and dining under the stars with live Spanish guitar was a highlight. The rooms had a lovely old vibe and a four-poster bed. Super nice team

It's location between Bilbao and Malaga, approx halfway, was ideal as we spent two nights on the ferry from uk and did not want to do the car journey in one long day. We live near Malaga. However this particular Parador is situsted in the centre of a beautiful small town just 50 metres from the Plaza , which in fact doubles as a bull RING,The architecture is amazing and the area when floodlit at night bis enchanting. The duty receptionist was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and varied and the whole Parador was spotless.
Public car parking locally is a nightmare. The Plaza is used for free parking but be aware of the local police who will give you a ticket if you do not park around the circumference. The hotel apparently has some limited parking nearby at a charge of Eoros 11.50 per day!!!

We chose this location so that we could have a relaxing final evening in Spain and easily reach the Madrid airport in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. The gentleman at the desk in the morning was very helpful in giving us driving directions to the airport.
The a/c ran with such a loud persistent hum that I could not have it on while I was in the room. I was told all the rooms were like this and I could just open a window. Fortunately the evening was cool enough for that to be acceptable and I could sleep comfortably. The wi-fi was not usable outside of the lobby (not even in the dining room). Much of the food on the breakfast buffet, which we visited an hour after it began - even the sliced fruit - tasted stale and leftover. This was the final night of a month-long self-guided tour through Spain during which we had far better experiences in hotels for which we paid far less. (We also had a better experience at a different Parador early in our trip.) Finally, when we asked about the availability of free parking in town, we were not told that we could simply park on the Plaza Mayor, literally steps away. Fortunately we found this on our own.

This Parador is one of the most impressive I have stayed in. The 17th century Convent ambience has been remarkably preserved..... lucky nuns in those days!!
The front-desk staff could benefeit from refresher courses in customer care and how to handle small problems without displaying sarcastic arrogance.

Impressive old building with modern standard. Nice location right next to the central market square. Chinchon as a city clearly deserves a second look with friendly people and less of a "bus load culture" than e.g. Toledo. And the Parador itself is an attraction.
The service in the restaurant. Unfortunately we were tired and hence didn't have dinner in one of the numerous options nearby. Service staff at reception was very friendly though.
